Boston, Massachusetts. Est. 1995 | Custom Design, Fabrication & Scratch Repair
The Stainless Guys began in 1995 as Granite Metal Services; a stainless steel fabrication and repair company, performing welding services for restaurants, hotels, nuclear facilities, bio labs, and medical applications. Since 2000, we have been working in the high-end residential sector providing custom stainless steel kitchen counters, back splash panels, shelves, bathroom vanities, vent hoods, fireplace surrounds, outdoor kitchens and various accessories.
We work with Kitchen Designers, Architects, Home Builders and Home Owners. We have built a reputation of honesty and integrity and our attention to detail has prompted a high-profile kitchen designer to refer to us as the "premier providers of custom residential stainless steel products", a reference in which we take great pride. We take the time to listen to our customers wants and needs and apply our knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of the fabrication machinery and discuss design features that will compliment their style. The finished product is polished as smooth as a piece of fine jewelry that will withstand the closest scrutiny and will serve as a conversation piece in your home for years to come.
Stainless steel is composed of 60% recycled material.
Unlike granite countertops, stainless steel does not emit radon gasses and is far more environmentally friendly.
Stainless steel countertops are seemless and since metal can be bent, they can be made to fit any surface area.
It was a pleasure working with you from pre-construction coordination through installation. Your professionalism, attention to detail and exceptional quality product contributed to the project's success.
There are stainless steel fabricators who are in the restaurant equipment or architectural steel, food or medical processing equipment sectors, which will on occasion attempt a residential project---mostly with disastrous results---after which, most will refer the client to us for correction. We do understand the importance of providing you with a product of stellar quality. After all, we are talking about your home.
Stainless steel alloys are extremely stable at ambient temperatures. There is no leaching or run-off.
Stainless steel is harmless to living things.
Stainless steel production in the U.S. make use of substantial pollution control technology.
The recycled content of stainless steel produced in the United States is higher than that of most countries.
Clean your stainless steel sink and countertop frequently with warm water, soap, or streak free Windex using a sponge or soft cloth. Thoroughly rinse with water, and wipe dry with a soft cloth to eliminate the possibility of water stains.
Caring For Stainless Steel
We discourage the use of household cleaning agents that contain chlorides such as Chlorine bleach or acids. These products can stain and dull the surface of stainless steel
Always use non-abrasive type pads, a sponge or soft cloth when cleaning stainless steel, as steel wool pads can leave steel particles on the surface and quickly form rust deposits. This will also leave unsightly scratches on your surface.
When cleaning or wiping a sink or countertop with a soft cloth or mild cleaner, always rub in the same direction as the grain to avoid cross scratching.
